SORE THROAT, COUGH, COLD, or FLU symptoms OR INTERSTATE TRAVEL
Please do NOT present to the surgery. Ring us first on 0738180700 and we will give you instruction. A bulk billed phone appointment can be arranged for a COVID test referral.

Medicare will no longer subsidise bulk-billing for ALL patients. We can only offer bulk billed telephone consultations IF you hold a current concession card OR are under 16 years of age OR within the **‘vulnerable group’ AND have had a face to face consultation in the past 12 months. For all other patients a private charge will apply [at doctors discretion] for a telephone consultation. The cost of a telephone consultation will be $50 with a Medicare rebate of $38.75.
** Vulnerable group refers to: anyone required to isolate in relation to COVID; 70+ years of age; ATSI 50+ years of age; pregnant; parent of a child under 12 months; being treated for a chronic health condition or immunocompromised.

TESTING FOR COVID 19
Testing is now available in Queensland for anyone with a fever and acute respiratory symptoms [cough, sore throat, shortness of breath]. If you are unwell please contact us for instruction. Our doctors can make arrangements for you to be tested for COVID 19. We do NOT have facilities here to examine or test respiratory patients but can direct you to the nearest testing facility or dedicated respiratory clinic. Whilst waiting for your test result you will be advised to self-isolate.
