Please do NOT present to the surgery. Ring us on 0738180700 and we can offer you a telephone consultation. This can be bulk billed IF you have been seen in the surgery in the past 12 months otherwise there will be a private charge of $40 .

TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS
From 20th July the Medicare rules for telehealth have changed
For vulnerable patients to minimise their risk of attending the surgery we can offer bulk billed telephone consultations if you have had a face to face consultation in the past 12 months. For patients who have not been seen in the past 12 months there is no Medicare rebate for a telephone consultation and the private charge of $40 will apply.

TESTING FOR COVID 19
Testing is now available in Queensland for anyone with a fever and acute respiratory symptoms [cough, sore throat, shortness of breath]. If you are unwell please contact us for instruction. Our doctors can make arrangements for you to be tested for COVID 19. Phone consultations will ONLY be bulk billed IF you have attended the surgery in person in the last 12 months. We do NOT have facilities here to examine or test respiratory patients but can direct you to the nearest testing facility or dedicated respiratory clinic. Whilst waiting for your test result you will be advised to self-isolate.

NOTIFICATION of FEES
From 1st July 2020 we have made a small increase in our private fees . There has been an increase in Medicare rebates so the increase in out of pocket expense to patients will be minimal . We do offer bulk billing Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm to school children under 17 years, health care card holders and aged pensioners. For other patients if there is financial hardship we may offer reduced fees at doctors discretion.
