Lakeside Medical is a private billing practice. Payment is required at the time of consultation. We accept EFTPOS, Credit Card [NOT AMEX or Diners] or cash. Please refer to the table at the base of this section for basic consultation costs. Please ask reception or your Doctor for any other costs you may incur.
If you have more than one medical concern to discuss, please ask for a longer consultation.
As of 1st July 2021 ALL patients will be charged a private fee, other than those aged under 16 , Senior Pension Card Holders and GOLD DVA card holders.
We offer bulk-billing for the following groups: School aged children aged under 16 years; Senior Aged Pension Card Holders and DVA Gold card holders. Please ensure you bring your concession card to the appointment to be sighted by reception staff, otherwise bulk-billing may not apply.
If you have your bank account details registered with Medicare, we can send your claim through on-line and your rebate will be paid into your account within 24-48 hours. If you would prefer to claim your Medicare rebate yourself, a receipt can be printed.
If you cannot attend your appointment, we respectfully request a minimum of 2 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without giving the required notice, a non-refundable private fee of $80 [standard] or $120 [Long] will apply.

Car Park consultations will be conducted for anyone who has any of the following symptoms: Fever, Cough, Sore Throat, Shortness of Breath, Contact with or Travel to CV19 hotspots.
